Little Changes – Big Difference

Hi lovelies,

I have been a bit off the block but hopefully you have been keeping up with me on Instagram where I attempt to do a outfit video few times during the week basically showing what I am wearing to work.

I have been a bit busy with spring cleaning my life. Making positive changes and learning and growing with myself. As I work through this transition myself, you better believe me there will be tons of material popping up on the blog – in hopes that it will help you folks get a better handle on things that you might be dealing with.

This outfit post it very similar to the formula I have been using in my personal life. When you are in a rut (wardrobe or life) – you need to at one point just simply say to yourself: I am going to make it happen one small change at a time. Once you start working towards these changes before you know it you mentally become stronger and transitions you into the person you wanted to be all along.

Onto the outfit – I fell in love with this Adidas maxi dress. It’s pretty form fitting but sporty. I was always obsessed with sporty dresses but never really found the ideal one for me. Ofcourse owning a plethora of sneakers now in a multitude of colors, a solid black sporty dress is a great canvas to start with. The dress is very form fitting but super stretchy – more than a traditional bodycon dress. So it moves with your body and lets you be active. I also want you to take notice of the two separate ways I styled it. This is where “little changes make a big difference” come into play. When investing in a dress you don’t have to follow the rules that the brand set or anyone else is trying to set. Yes its a dress that came from a sports store and yes it will look great with sneakers. But you know what? It will be just fine if we break the rules throw on some heels and a statement necklace and turn it into high fashion. You define what works and doesn’t work for you. Just like there is no ONE way to live life – there is no ONE way to dress your outfit. And you thought there will never be life advice that could be used in fashion world or vice versa. I am here to teach you that there are alot more commonalities in life than what appears to our naked eyes.
