Post number 2 on closet huntress is already up! I wanted to give you a bonus post for the launch day. This is my absolute favorite dress that I wore for a lunch outing with the hubster. We decided to finally stop by and check out the hype at Momofuku CCDC in city center Washington D.C. And I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the visit. If you are planning to visit them do not buy what the obvious choice is (cough ramen cough) but some other menu items, otherwise your visit will fall flat and boring. A food review post is already in the works for Momofuku CCDC, so check back shortly for that.
The weather was pleasant – not too warm or cold, and the mustard dress was perfect to walk around the city and lounge around in. I paired it with tiny heels (the only size I can currently wear as I recover for injuries) and a gorgeous pastel gem necklace. After lunch we headed for our regular cup of joe/chai at this wonderful hidden coffee bar called Roasted in the heart of Washington D.C. They were getting ready to close down as they only open during office hours. The barista was kind enough to let us sit and enjoy our drinks as cleaned up and closed the place down. I am hoping to return soon to be able to fully take in the experience that is Roasted.
