Casual Comfort

Hi lovelies,

Summer is slowly passing us by and 2016 has been a breeze of a year for me. With recovering from fracture, dealing with a stalker, coping with norovirus and still living with its after affects switching from medicine to medicine – I wonder where this year has gone? But sometimes tough months and years make you tougher too. And ofcourse the blog has been a great blessing in diguise. It kept me positive just thinking about you guys as my readers. I have always fallen on the side of super dressy when it comes to clothing but this year has definitely pushed me into styling comfort clothes and still standing out with your unique style. How do I do it? Maybe there should a whole blog post on that, what do you think comment below and let me know.

But when shopping look for key pieces of any sort. Don’t go with what everyone is wearing, the cuts, colors and styles. Try to find things that have some uniqueness to them before you buy them. And then you will have a wardrobe full of unique items you can pair together. I have definitely come full circle with my love for Adidas – I mean growing up that was the item to wear overseas in the middle east. And now here we are years later and everyone is chasing the latest Adidas style.

If you haven’t tried their shoes, you are in for a big surprise. The NMDs are totally feel like you are walking on clouds. I have also gone a bit wild and cleared out shelves of adidas products at pacsun, urban outfitters and ofcourse the original adidas store. But a word of caution – Do not overdo it. Limit yourself to ONE logo item at a time, otherwise you look like a walking talking billboard! And that is so not cute. This post features the women’s limited edition white and black NMDs a.k.a the pandas. Sorry mine are already sold out but you can find them on ebay for a hefty price!

You will see me frolicking around in this outfit around our neighborhood when I am just making a lunch/dinner or bubble tea run (woohoo go kungfu tea! its quite an addiction)….and as I would like to say…keep your outfit simple and comfy and let your hair do the talking!
